Vicar's Message

Dear beloved in Christ,

I hope you are all keeping well; that is my prayer. May the custodian God take care of all our church members everywhere. This month is particularly important for us due to many reasons, including our difficulty in finding a worship place. We are looking forward to securing a good and supportive location. Let us all pray without ceasing, asking our Redeemer to hear us from above, to consider our needs, and to grant them.

The Great Lent begins on February 11th. I urge everyone to observe the Great Lent and be blessed. While we may have many arguments and reasonable justifications, they will not bless us. These 50 days should be a time of cleansing ourselves. Though we clean every day, there should be a specific period for clearance, which occurs annually.

Firstly, we need to find more time to spend with our Savior, to talk with Him, and to listen to Him, having a great time of conversation, which is always considered as prayer and quiet time.

Secondly, we need to find a time for confrontation, as Jacob said, "If you will not bless me, I will not let you go." We should yield before Him to avoid all dangers in life as we continue on our life journey.

Thirdly, it must be a period of reconciliation with the Redeemer. We may harbor many pet, personal, and rigid attitudes which are hidden within us, unknown to others. However, we should realize that God knows everything about us; nothing can be hidden from Him. When all these things happen, holistic healing will take place through our sanctification. That is what we are expecting from Him during these days.

Our 129th Maramon Convention will begin on February 11, virtually allowing us to participate, which will be a blessing for us.

May the holistic healer, God, be with us and bless us to be true children of God during these days. Let us receive blessings from above and lead a life pleasing before God

Almighty. We offer our sincere prayers for the Church.

May God bless us again.

With much love and prayers,

Lovingly,
Kochummen Achen
