Family Night Fiesta
Horeb held its much anticipated Family Night on Sat, Oct 1 at Acker Hall. It was a festive night filled with lively performances, great food and wonderful fellowship. Dr. Sunil Thomas and Sobha Mammen were the MCs and Sheba Chacko was the coordinator. Click the link here to see the video playlist with all the performances. One Day Retreat
Rhythms of Hope was the theme of the One Day Retreat hosted by Horeb MTC on Sat, Oct 8th at church. Rev. Manu Varghese of the Seattle Mar Thoma Church was the main speaker and it was well attended. Rajan Abraham was the Retreat Coordinator.
Parish Day
Horeb commemorated its 10th Parish Day on Sunday, October 9th. The Sunday School kids sang a special song and dinner was served at Acker Hall after the service. The 2022 Executive Committee was present for a cake cutting moment.
Youth Sunday
Youth Sunday was held on Sun, Oct 16th. Youths assisted with the service, read lessons, collected offertory, and sang a group song. Mr. Tim Varghese gave the sermon.
Sevika Sangham Cottage Meeting
The October Sevika Sangham Cottage Meeting was hosted by Giti Varghese. Merry Thomas led the Bible study on “Conquering Fear” and Biblical references to it, such as Psalm 23:4.
Youth Fellowship Meeting
Horeb youths met at Daniel and Alisah Mathews home on Friday, October 28th for their monthly fellowship meeting. Nikesh Parikh led the meeting and did a presentation on financial literacy to help the youths learn to manage their finances responsibly and to get on the right track early in life.
